This session will provide HIV s100 Prescribers with an update in topics relevant to the management of people living with HIV. 

Hosted by Alfred Health and NWMPHN, this session is a great learning opportunity for those working in either high or low case-load clinics and are new to prescribing and want to maintain their s100 knowledge /skills.

Do you have a case to volunteer or have a discussion topic are you most interested in? Email to let us know! Complex co-morbidities? GP/NP submitted cases? HBV/HCV Co-infection? Revision of course content or simple introductory cases? Participants are encouraged to submit their cases or topics for discussion prior to the webinar.

Facilitator: Dr Olga Vujovic

Olga Vujovic is an Infectious Diseases Physician at The Alfred Hospital interested in complex care and chronic disease, developing new HIV models of care, and innovative education programs for health care workers in the field of HIV medicine. She has been the physician with the Victorian HIV Consultancy since 2003, and has been engaged in curriculum development and delivery of the HIV s100 course for over a decade.

Learning outcomes:

  • Apply the latest clinical information about antiretroviral therapy to clinical practice
  • Identify appropriate treatment plans for complex cases
  • Plan guideline-based monitoring for patients living with HIV
